We are Generation Rent.<\/h3>\n<p>I\u2019ve shared 17 homes across four countries, and even fell out with a best friend when we ran into some issues using a spreadsheet to stay on top of our bills. I\u2019ve spent hours on the phone dealing with utility companies, wanting to pull my hair out! I\u2019ve received countless red letters through my mailslot telling me I\u2019ve missed my water payment, when I never had known about the bill in the first place. My fiancee\u2019s credit was destroyed by a \u00a32 outstanding charge for her internet bill in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Running the home is still an analogue task &#8211; which is crazy when we have digital ways of running all the other most important areas of our lives. We couldn\u2019t understand why the home wasn\u2019t one of them, so we set out to build a platform that integrates with the various utilities and other services your home needs.
