The Energy Bills Support Scheme<\/a> provides a \u00a3400 non-repayable discount to eligible households to help with their energy bills over winter 2022 to 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You don’t need to do anything; we (acasa) will provide a discount to your monthly bills to pass any credit on to you directly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You will see these discounts in the acasa app as a note against your monthly bill – eg. “Goodlord Bills (-\u00a366 govt support)”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The government credit will be applied between October 2022 and March 2023.<\/p>\n

Acasa will NOT reduce your first month payment, because we can’t confirm whether the discount will be applied to your account in the first (partial) month of us taking over the account. Instead, we will ensure every discount we receive is applied to your account. If we receive more credit payments than we’ve provided you during your contract, we’ll apply a discount. For example, this may mean that we discount your April 2023 bill to apply the credit (even after the scheme has stopped providing discounts to us).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
