We’re all moving out, what do we do next?

It’s ok, we’ll eliminate the worst of the hassle for you. We help you close everything down, get your final bills paid, and get those refunds back too.

Simply tell us in advance of you leaving, and keep your house account open until we’ve got all the final bills from the suppliers. This can sometimes take a couple of weeks, but we’ll give you peace of mind knowing everything is wrapped up and sorted.

Energy

Give us a final meter reading and we’ll get you a final bill. If you owe a bit more, we’ll add a final cost, you pay that and all is done. If you’re in credit, we’ll organise the refund from Octopus Energy, and split it between you all too.

Broadband

All UK broadband companies have a 30 day cancellation process, so if you tell us your tenancy end date we’ll stop your payments before you roll into the next month.

If you’ve not yet finished the your contract (12 or 18 months) then you’ll have to pay the remainder of the contract. It’s like a mobile phone contract, and is standard for all UK providers.

Water

If you’re metered, send us a meter reading, and if you’re unmetered then we’ll simply be able to use the date of the end of your tenancy. We’ll then speak to the water company, get a final bill. If you’re in credit, we’ll organise the refund from Octopus Energy, and split it between you all too.

TV Licence

We’ll cancel your TV Licence from when you need it till, and contact TV Licensing for any refund your owed.
